Victory is Mine

For once, Immigration rules. I just got back from the city to see them.

They have just granted me a travel visa from now until early January. This means I get to go home for Christmas. AND SEE MY PARENTS!! Last time was in 2002, 6 looooong years ago.

I am the happiest person alive right now.

So Christmas looks like this. I will be going here.

Doing my Christmas Shopping here

Eating at places like this

Remembering to drive on the other side of the road, and following road signs such as this.

Realising once again that this is the only green grass (and only grass really at all) in the country

Visiting our pet camel

And ahem… trying to remember all the arabic which I used to speak 6 years ago.

I can’t wait and had to share.

Anticipation

I have two bands in the works. They are going to be absolutely completely different.

One is a three piece pop punk band. The other a four piece metalcore band.
Nice combination huh?

I am really excited about them both. The people I am doing them with are amazing, and I have such a high level of respect and admiration for them. This is going to be so much better than the last band that I had, because the motives behind it all are common, and we are bonded by strong friendship and sets of values.

I am looking forward to the journey ahead of us – that we have already started. I am excited now, and I predict it be withstanding to the end.

I raise my cup of strawberry apple juice to good times and good music – and a friendship bond that is stronger and more solid than it was before we started. Oh and more excellent dinner outings, with psyche out pool for dessert,

Anticipation

I cannot contain my excitement.

New Found Glory, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Rival Schools and Saves the Day.
I will have the biggest smile on my face.

Other bands I am really stoked on are Alkaline Trio, Evergreen Terrace, Everytime I Die, Anberlin, Finch, Say Anything, Goldfinger, Emery and Horse the Band.

A Melbourne trip might even be on the cards.
