Day 29- In this past month, what have you learned
The value of family, and having good relationships.
It’s been so good having my parents stay with me. The fact that they are so far away and that I only get to see them once a year really makes me appreciate them a lot more than the average person, or even when I was younger and may have taken them for granted.
I’ve also learnt a lot more about gardening and types of plants, soils, flowers etc.
I swear it sounds like I’m becoming an old nana.
I’m still in my twenties! Promise!

Day 23- Something you crave for a lot
Integrity from the people that I surround myself with. Honesty. Respect and Trust.
All big things, but I know we are all not perfect – that’s the beauty of love…
We are appreciated even with our obvious faults and flaws.
I like that.

Day 20- Someone you see yourself marrying/being with in the future
Oh Gosh… If i knew the answer to this, I would be a very happy person.
I do have an idea of the type of person and the qualities that I would like them to possess in mind.
Love is weird thing.
It’s two ways.
You can’t always choose who you fall in love with and who falls in love with you.
Until then, I ponder and wait…

So today a little 11 year old boy said to me –
Boy: “Ooh, the guy that likes you is outside standing by the printer, you should go and talk to him”
Me: “Oh Matt?? He doesn’t like me”
Boy: “Yes he does, why do you think he came in last week?”
Me: Uh.. because he is IT support and the computer broke down!”
Haha.. This little boy is still convinced Matt the IT guy and I are destined to be together. So cute, but so wrong.

So my brother finally had his engagement party, and it really was a good night out.
Everyone dressed up, the theme was orange and white, and I got commissioned to make over 100 orange and vanilla cupcakes to match the theme. All vegan of course.
Now, Greg’s fiance Gayle, is a dance school teacher, and most of her friends are dancers, so you can imagine the quality of rug cutting that went on.
The quote of the night, by one of Greg’s workmates, in reference to Gayle’s friends.
“Well boys, with a show like this, who needs to go to the strip club after”

A motorcyclist had to swerve to avoid a car this morning, on the road I live just off, and ending up hitting a metal pole.
He was rushed to hospital with severe chest injuries, and lost the fight for his life shortly after.
The road was closed off, and getting to work was near impossible.
Another fatality. How many more?
Tell your loved ones how much you love them… You never know when they’ll be gone.
